Every other embroidery company charges $40 to $80 to digitise your logo before they'll stitch it. We don't. Free, on every order, every time, every logo, no caveats. We're the only embroidery studio anywhere that does this; we've checked. The first time we stitch a logo we build the stitch file from scratch and save it forever, so reorders skip even the upload step.
How custom embroidery works at RK
Pick a garment, drop in your design, name, date or phrase, we stitch it on one of 13 industrial embroidery machines in our Melbourne studio. Made to order in two weeks. Your first embroidery placement is included in the price; extra spots are available at checkout if you want a name on a sleeve, a logo on the back, or a second design somewhere else.
What we stitch onto
The custom range spans the full RK garment library. Lightweight tees and long-sleeves, mid-weight crewnecks, heavyweight 380GSM hoodies, oversized cuts, trackies, polos, caps, beanies, totes. Most pieces sit between $59 and $129. Choose a colour, choose a size, choose your design.
Why 13 industrial machines, not a print shop
Machine embroidery doesn't peel, crack or fade like print does. We chose embroidery because it outlasts the garment underneath, and we chose 13 machines instead of 3 because that's how we keep production at two weeks instead of two months while every order stays custom. No two pieces are identical because no two designs are.
Logos, names, dates, anything
You can upload a logo, write text, paste in a custom font, or pull a design from your phone gallery. Text and logos alike: free digitising included, no setup fee, anywhere. If you want to see the digitised line before we stitch, add the draft approval option on the product page.
Business uniforms and group orders
Workplace uniforms, team merch, event giveaways, hen's parties, school reunions, footy clubs. We do these every week. Free digitising matters even more here, three logos across a uniform program is $150+ saved before you've ordered a single garment. Minimum is 10 units for bulk pricing; email us at support@rkthreads.com to get a quote before you order if you're after 25+ pieces.
Custom embroidery questions
PNG, JPG, PDF and AI all work. High resolution helps. If you only have a screenshot or a low-res photo, send it anyway and we'll let you know if it needs cleaning up before we can embroider it.
No. We're the only embroidery company in the world that digitises logos for free. Every other shop charges $40 to $80 per logo to set up the stitch file before they'll stitch it; we charge nothing. We save your file in our system so reorders go straight to production.
Yes. All text setup is free, whether you use one of our built-in embroidery fonts or upload your own font file. If you'd like help picking a font or sizing your text, email us at support@rkthreads.com.
Two weeks from order to shipped, made to order. Express delivery via AusPost is available at checkout, which speeds up the post leg but not the production. If you have a hard deadline, email us before ordering.

Yes, add the draft approval option on the product page when you order. We'll email you the digitised line drawing within three business days and you can revise it once or twice before we proceed.
